Policies
Welcome to American Dance Academy. We are honored to have you join us this year as we embark on our 11th year. These policies have been created to assure that you and your child achieve the best possible experience from your association with our studio. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Please read all information carefully and feel free to call me with any questions. Part of the studio’s success is dependent on the way that we, as the teachers, and you, as the parent, work together. We are confident that you will agree.
Tuition/Installments:
The tuition is a set yearly price divided by 10 months. There are no deductions if your child is absent and tuition is not prorated for months that have holidays such as Christmas because you are not being charged per class but rather per a yearly fee. Make up classes are permitted within a month time frame in approved classes. There will be no make-up classes during the summer. If your account is declined for any reason you will be charged an NSF fee and your installment will be due immediately before the student can come back to class(es). Also, if your child misses more than a month of classes he or she must re-register and pay the yearly registration fee due upon returning.
Returned Tuition or Checks:
There will be a $25 NSF fee on all returned checks or tuition.
Attendance:
All students are expected to attend class on a regular basis and to be on time. Any absences or tardiness hamper the progress of the entire class, as well as your child. Consistent absences or tardiness are not tolerated and if it is deemed excessive. I reserve the right to remove any student from a performance at any time.
Emails:
Please make sure that you read any and ALL notices and newsletters that go home with your child. ALL of them contain very important information regarding the school. If you are ever in doubt about anything, please do not hesitate to text or email me. All information will be sent to you via email or in class. If you realize you are not receiving emails please notify me as soon as possible.
